I highly recommend this clinic! Took my cat to her for a second opinion and after following her instructions, I'm thrilled to say that he is much better. Dr. England is thorough, knowledgable, and very easy to talk to. I agree with another reviewer - she also CARES. She listened to my concerns, answered all my questions and came up with a very different idea about what was going on with my "baby". The staff are very caring and helpful too! From now on, I will take both of my cats to her!
Dr. England is the kindest and most knowledgable vet I have ever had for my animals. Her staff are very well trained, professional and compassionate as well. She has amazed me more than once by her commitment and caring for animals. She honestly puts them first. She has been blessed with a great talent to care for our pets who can't speak for themselves.
She loves all animals.
She went way beyond the call of duty this past Christmas, 2006. My mixed-breed mutt dog started vomiting so much on Christmas Eve that I was worried about dehydration. I took her to the Emergency Clinic. The Emergency Clinic always sends the patient's vet a fax stating the results of the visit. On Christmas morning, Dr. England called my house to check on my dog. She didn't have to do that. She could have let the emergency vet handle the situation. She told me that if my dog still wasn't well I could bring her in that afternoon while she was at her office checking on the pets who were there; on Christmas Day. My dog was still acting lethargic so I took her in. Well, not 30 minutes later my dog was having bloody dihreaah and vomiting repeatedly. She had a bad bacterial infection and would have died without intravenous antibiotics. Dr. England stayed with my dog all Christmas Day. She didn't leave her until she was stable, she cleaned her up (and it was a bad, bad mess) and had her in a warm quiet spot. Even when she left the office, she checked on her via closed circuit camera from her computer. This was a deadly disease and she would have died without expert care. I'm so relieved my dog survived and I'm amazed and grateful at the compassion Dr. England showed and has continued to show my mutt animals. She gave up Christmas Day because she cared about my dog and I'll always be grateful.
An Animal Clinic for people, too!: Lots of vets out there. Some are or are related to a horseâs patoot and I would not take my goat to them, if I had one. Others were born with a heart, frequently with a heart that keeps growing in size to the point where it can take in and dish out all the love one or oneâs pet can handle. Makes me wonder if Dr. Englandâs name is coincidental with a countryâs whose citizenry would willingly sacrifice eyeteeth for the sake of a catâs or a dogâs welfare. Suffices to say that if your companion requires care and/or attention, there is no better place anywhere than the Vestridge Animal Clinic. Your other companion (a.k.a. husband) will just have to learn to live with the knowledge that pets brought to Vestridge will be getting better care than they do when they see their doctor. Way to go, Dr. England!
