This is one of my two favorite restaurants in OKC. I agree with another reviewer here that the people are all very nice, and sincerely so (which is refreshing compared to some places where you may feel rushed through dinner). I was comfortable just walking in the door. Someone even came over and told us about how the food is traditionally eaten, mostly with the hands and that people feed each other. She even explained that the food served here is not quite as spicy as it is in Ethiopia, and offered to bring a sample of a hot sauce made spicier than what is generally served. I strongly suggest ordering a glass of honey wine, it goes with any main course you order! I had curry lamb served on Injera (flat bread used to dip or scoop). To top it all, the coffee I ordered afterward was as rich and strong as the food was spicy and wonderful! Go treat yourself and someone you're close to...
Great restaurant: The best part of this restaraunt is the service and the setting. Very nice people and the food is very good as well. I sat down and had the queen of sheba special which consisted of injera (like a fermented sour crepe), various types of watt (stewed or curried beef, lamb, lentils, chickpeas, potato/carrot, roasted egg, salad etc). There was SO MUCH FOOD and the quality was great. Prices are reasonable and the best part is the whole experience. This was the first time I ate ethiopian food so it was great. Highly recommended.
Magnificent Restaurant and Excellent food!!!!!: I visited Queen of Sheba restaurant in July 2007. The food was awesome. It was well beyond my expectation. I can't wait to go back. I will visit the restaurant more frequently although i live pretty far from Oklahoma city.
