   Camp Barkalot enabled my husband and I to be able to go out of town for vacation and not worry about our dogs safety and comfort. The staff is helpful, friendly and accomodating, and the prices were far less than other places. We love that our dogs were able to run and play most of the day. They gave us a free visit to see if our dogs would like the facility, and we were pleasantly relieved to find that they loved the place. They didn't seem to want to leave, and they slept very well when we took them home.
   
   One of our dogs is 14 and has arthritis. She requires medication 3 times a day, and this was no problem for the staff. They made sure she got her meds, and it didn't cost extra for the extra care our dog required.
   
   When we called in to check on our dogs the staff was able to tell us how our dogs were, and gave us status reports.
   
   Our dogs do have "colds" because they have never really had exposure to other dogs before. I believe the same thing happens to children in daycare, and had nothing to do with the facilities or the staff. This was our first experience "kennelling" our dogs, so we didn't know what to expect.
   
   We don't have kids, so our dogs are our lives. We would trust our dogs to Camp Barkalot again. Their daycare prices are very reasonable, and we will use them when we have to be away during the day instead of leaving them home alone all day.

   Wonderful place. Clean, well staffed and supervised. The owners are hands-on, and they don't just do it to make money, they truly love dogs. Mine got a little bite on the ear once while playing there, and they immediately called me at work, ran her over to the vet to get it looked at, and then kept her quiet in a separate room until I came to collect her. They could not have handled it better, and it really reassured me that she was in good hands.
   
   Also, she LOVES going and has an absolute ball there.

   I would not hesitate taking my dogs and cats to this facility. Chris and Dave make sure that it's clean and the dogs are well taken care of.
