I originally sought out acupuncture because my general practitioner was unable to diagnose or treat my upper back/shoulder/arm pain. My pain was extreme; 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. I was taking Vicodin and Motrin every 4 hours and it only took the edge off the pain. This was my first time getting acupuncture and I was definitely a little skeptical, but I was willing to try anything that might ease my pain. After two visits with Tim, my pain went from an 11 down to a 3. I was totally amazed and extremely grateful !!! I didn't need to take any more medication after this. I later found out (from a spine specialist) that I had a herniated disc in my neck. Tim helped me get out of the worst pain I'd ever experienced. I'm sure he can help you too.
I had been having lower back pain on and off for the past year, and it had gotten progressively worse over the last two months. Now I had pain and numbness running down my left leg, and it would progressively get worse the more time I spent on my feet, especially walking. I had two treatments with Tim in late December / early January, and was immediately able to stop taking my pain pills. This was the first time I had ever had acupuncture, and I was quite amazed at how well it worked for me.
As of now, I haven't felt this good in months, and I've been able to resume biking and working out. I would definitely recommend Spring Life to anyone seeking this type of treatment.
Upon arrival at Spring Life you will meet Tim. He is a soft spoken fellow who is very knowledgeable, well trained, educated and passionate about his practice. I sought out acupuncture as a treatment for various running related injuries that failed to respond to other forms of treatment. My first visit was over a year ago and my symptoms were chronic fatigue in my legs. Several treatments later my legs were happily running once again. Two marathons and two half marathons later led to my second visit. It was for sharp burning pains in my right heal. I thought it was bruised and would need time to heal. After 9 months it had not changed. Miraculously one treatment session with Tim brought amazing relief and by the next day the pain was 90% gone. A few days afterward it was 100%. My third visit was for yet another running related injury involving my left Achilles. It was sore and tight â caused a lot of discomfort - and did not want to heal. With Tim's treatment it responded immediately and after a few days it was back to normal. Needless to say that being a marathon runner I tax my body to its limits at times. Becoming a patient at Spring Life has been the best decision I could have made. Tim takes time to fully understand the issue and questions you thoroughly about the cause and effect before beginning any treatments. Once he understands the condition from consultation, examination and evaluating the symptoms he begins the treatment regimen. I was truly amazed by the healing and recovery of my last two visits. If you have any kind of pain whether it is nerve, tendon or bone - related to running or not - I would recommend you visit Spring Life and put yourself on the recovery road pronto!
