When I made an offer on a home in Glastonbury in May of 2009, the term "HVCC" was new to all of us. Neither real estate agent had closed a sale under the new law and most lenders (and brokers) were unfamiliar with the new process. In fact, many had never worked with an appraisal management company. The team at Burke Mortgage was well-versed with the new law and fully prepared to help me.

John Burke and his staff worked harder than I could have ever imagined ensuring an expedient, trouble-free closing. John was very informative and was genuinely interested in closing a loan that many brokers would have discarded as unworthy of their effort.

John was up front and honest about the costs and the process. There were no surprises. He and his staff were diligent and extremely professional. He shopped my loan with several vendors to ensure I received the best rate available - and when the rate lock expired (due to a clerical error at the lender), he fought to ensure the original rate was honored.

John spends a lot of time with his clients to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the lending process; he's on the most dedicated, patient people I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

I have worked with John Burke of Burke Mortgage on two occasions for two seperate properties. John walked me through the process with great care and detail. He excells at customer service and making sure that the home owner knows their options and what is best for them in the short term and long term. Burke Mortgage is a very professional business that is always in the know of market trends, new products as well as what his clients needs. John Burke is highly recommended for every mortage need whether a first time home buyer or someone interested in owning investment properties.

John and Lisa were straigh forward, honest, and very easy to deal with. What John said he would deliver, was what was delivered. I would use them again in a second.
