    Raised in Monroe, moved to Florida. Visiting family in the area. Loved it! From the bread to the appetizers to the meal, all wonderful. Would love to fly back just for the crab cake dinner, awesome - pricey but well worth it. Real lump crab, crispy bottom and top. Wish I could talk about a restaurant in our town in Florida that had crab cakes as good as LA Vera Cucina.

    Excellent food and incredible service. I love the people that work here, their like family. And the new decor made me feel like i was in a villa in Tuscany! I love this place! Try the Filet Migon with scallops...it is awesome!

    What a pleasant surprise! We were visiting relatives in the area, and they suggested La Vera Cucina for dinner. The setting is idyllic, the decor warm and inviting, and rest assured, as an Italian from Brooklyn, I can unequivocally state that the food was superb...so much so, that I would gladly make the trip from Brooklyn even if not visiting relatives! This establishment is as good, if not better, than any Italian restaurant I've been to in Brooklyn, or ANYWHERE!
