   Was is Kansas City for a conference and had a chance to eat here...it was in a food court in downtown. I ordered the Spring rolls and was pleasently surprised. Three large Spring Rolls with all the fixins. Left me full and satisfied and for only a few dollars. I went back the next day and tried their sushi combo...absolutely superb!!! The last person who wrote a negative review must have been high on wasabi. Sure, its not the quality of a high end sushi restaurant (trust me, I have had my share of sushi in NYC where I live), but it is certainly VERY high quality and for about 1/4 of the cost. That's right, 1/4 of the cost! Bottom line, if you want fast, fresh, inexpensive, high quality sushi (they also have great sides, spring rolls and soups) then Bumblefish will hit the spot.

   YUKKIE BLAH: This place was NASTY. I was fancied by the decor, and the nice counter girl, but that's where it ended. First of all when I opened the PREPACKAGED sushi, that had been sitting on "ice" for God knows how long, a FLY FLEW OUT! Next, after I thoroughly checked my food for other nasties, I was burdened by the undersized dipping cup and the lack of enough soy sauce. The Salmon was OK but the red snapper and the red tuna were not in any way even close to good. The spicy tuna roll that accompanied my 4 peices of luke warm sushi was WAY TOO SPICY. I like spicy, but if I cant taste the food, it's too hot! If you are a REAL sushi fan this is NOT the place for you! If you are a sushi virgin this is not the place for you... I'd rather spend the dough and eat at KOBE in Independence, than choke down this sorry excuse for a delacacy.

   Seriously? So if it was on ice for god knows how long...how was it luke warm? I eat there all the time and I think the sushi is awesome...and I have eaten a lot of sushi. I know for a fact they make it fresh all day there. This person must work for Kobe.
