I absolutely love this place. I've been going to Rebounds for about a year now and have been to many other spots in Clarksville, but this one is my spot. Not only do they have great prices on drinks, plenty of competition on the pool table for all ranges of proficiency, great times at karaoke Tuesday through Thursday night, fun, friendly and attentive staff, the "scene" is always welcoming as well. It can be laid back, upbeat, a great place to take a load off, meet new people, have drinks after work, go out or even have social gatherings. You can play music, enjoy the good eats, have all kinds of different beer/mixed drinks/shots, and enjoy a night out knowing you won't break the bank. Hope to see you up there.

A couple of months ago, my best friend, boyfriend and I purchased gift certificates online for many establishments around the area, especially those that are not "chains" so that we could see what our town offers. We have been pleased with them all, until tonight.

Quite honestly, the food was excellent, but the service was horrible. I give the food 4 stars, but the service I would give negative if I could. This is our second time at the bar for dinner, as we left the first time due to no one coming to help us, and the music was too loud.

This evening, we went in and after about 10 minutes, I went to the bar and asked the bartender for menus for my table as well as the table next to mine, as they had been sitting there longer than we had. The bartender graciously gave me the menus, and then about 10 minutes later, came to take our drink order. We had a gift certificate for $25. The bartender returned and asked for a credit card to run a tab, because her shift was about to end.

About 20 minutes later, our appetizers arrived. Yummy! But she (our same server) did not take our food order, and rushed hurriedly away. After eating our appetizers, I cleared my table of our plates, and took them to the bar (and, literally, handed them to the only person that smiled at me- with NO shoes on). I went to the bar to ask for drink refills and for her to take our dinner order. Our server gave me an annoyed look, and then about 5 minutes later, came with our refills and took our order. As she left, my table was annoyed with the service, but I commented on how the girl that was taking over the shift seemed to show up at the start of her shift and started decorating for a birthday party, leaving the first girl to tend the bar and tables alone. I have waited tables before. I know how this feels.

20 minutes or so later, our food arrived. Again, it was good food. Right away, I asked our server for boxes, as the portions were very large, and our stomachs were settling with the food from our appetizers. I did this so that she could maybe bring them back to us right away. After eating our dinner (about 20 minutes later), the very nice karaoke dj asked us if we needed boxes. I told him that we did, and thanked him for his assistance. I asked him if he worked there, and he said that he did not, but often cleared the tables of ashtrays, plates, glasses and other things to allow people to enjoy their experience more. I wish he was employed there.

Finally, we went to get our check, and our bill was $28.88 after our discount was removed. I have waited tables for years and believe in always tipping the staff (and I generally tip well, often up to 50% if it is outstanding service, since I am now in a better financial position to do so), however, I did not feel that this warranted the 15-20% tip that is standard. I was very upset with our service. The bar had charged us an 18% gratuity to provide to our server for her "service".

This may be a fun place to hang out, and the food is very good, but the service for "wait staff" is terrible. This is my second attempt at enjoying myself at this "Lounge & Grill" and both times have been very much less than a pleasant experience. We have another gift certificate that we purchased to use at this establishment, but I will not be returning.

I would recommend this bar to everyone! It has a great atmosphere very friendly service and the location is great. If you’re looking for a great place to spend a couple of hours, watch some sports, and enjoy some good times, great drinks and some of the best food around then this is the place!
