I go to Mt (Mr.) Fuji all the time!
I use to go once a week with my friends. The prices are a little high, so I would recommend going there for lunch. If you're going with a big party on a weekend it is a definent must to call in early and have a table reserved. I know even when I go at around seven with two friends it's hard to squeeze us in in the dining room.
The service is so-so. I feel like it was better in the beginning (I think they had a different manager and she was really nice), now that they have a different manager the waiters and waitresses are sorta clueless (once a waitress thought I gave her a $15 tip when I really just wanted my change).
Another complaint is that they sometimes do not give you all that the meal promised to give you. Some of the entrees come with soup and salad, and on busy nights you wont always get both or sometimes none at all! And the waiters/waitresses do not even care to tell you that you wont them with your meal.
The food is excellent though and I encourage people to try the Udon.
I love this place...which is bad on my wallet. We eat their food fairly regularly. I've had sushi at several locations, locally and in the Atlanta area. This is definitely our favorite. Their sushi is fresh and always delicious. I'm ordering it tonight in fact, but will enjoy it at home.
First time at Mr. Fuji - we had sushi; 3 adults, 2 of whom are West coast sushi connoisseurs. We all loved it. Nice selection on the Chef's Special sushi plate, reasonably priced in my opinion. Beautiful presentation, and each order came at one time on one plate - a lot better than the "boat" of one-at-a-time sushi, so you can savor and try another and back. They were out of the first 3 selections of sake; minimal beer selection. Next we will go back and try the group hibachi and get "cooked" meat, and absolutely we will be back for sushi.
