I agree with the recent posts by Marilyn and Stephanie.
The office staff is unprofessional and puts you on hold for an unnecessary amount of time. The office worker put me on hold while I was choosing a day for an appointment, which only took a few seconds, but she decided to put me on hold for a few minutes. Once I decided the day, she told me the times that were available and put me on hold again, when I did not need the extra time to decide.
They also miscommunicate with patients.
The office said they would contact me one week and a half after my last appointment but I ended up contacting them. I received the help I needed a whole month later, when it was somewhat urgent.
The dentistry staff are friendly, and the office is clean. However, the office etiquette and degree of professionalism needs to improve. It complicates processes. So expect the help you get to take much longer or sometimes even the prices to be unclear.
I totally agree with you Stephanie. She is VERY unprofessional and a terrible representation of the establishment! Monica will not return your call and doesn't even seem to be aware of what's going on half the time. Dr. Leeks is an excellent dentist but he seriously needs to consider replacing the trifling mess who answers the phone. She is REALLY bad for business!
I noticed most of the reviews are from 2007-08. This is about when I started going to Dr. Leeks. It was great! Professional staff, great dentist. Loved everything about this office. Actually made me WANT to go to the dentist. Over the last year the professional atmosphere has declined, dramatically! The dentist & hygienists are still great. But the office staff is a joke, literally. I called to make an appointment & I couldn’t tell if Monica was talking to me or someone else through all of her giggling. She would ask me a question and I would answer then she would re-ask the question. The conversation went like this:
Monica-Thank for calling New Image Dentistry, how may I help you (giggling?)
Me- Hi my name is Stephanie Neville & I would like to make an appointment to have my teeth cleaned
Monica- Hello. And what’s your name? (still giggling)
Me-Uhhhh, Stephanie Neville
Monica- Neville….am I speaking with Dominic or Stephanie (still giggling)
Me- huh??? Stephanie Neville, I would like to make an appointment
Monica-Oh, I have an appointment tomorrow at 3 pm
Me- I can’t come tomorrow I need any day except Mondays or Wednesday…..
Monica- “Don’t put it there, it is nasty.
Me- What? Me? What is nasty?
Monica- giggle…..I don’t have anything until October
Me- Never mind, thank you.
Do I want to go to a dentist office where there is something nasty?? Dr. Leeks, I would love to come back but I just can’t suffer through the ignorance you have placed at your front desk. Hope business continues to do well for you!!
