WONDERFUL! We ate on the patio overlooking the city. The wine was delicous and the duck ravioli divine! Our waiter was fantastic and we just completely enjoyed ourselves. I can't wait to go back to try more of the yummy looking menu.
This is a terrific place to eat. There are a lot of regulars who gather for dinner and conversation in the lounge. It kind of reminds me of CHEERS Italian style, you know where everyone knows your name. Nice people, very friendly. When your eating by yourself you feel very comfortable and welcome. O' and the food really is the best Italian food in town.
This little family owned restaurant has the best Italian food in Reno. They also have the best Pizza in town! Their homemade Tiramisu is the best I have ever tasted anywhere, including Italy. This is where the native born Italians come to eat, so it really feels like a little european restaurant tucked away in the Sierra foothills with panoramic views of downtown Reno and the valley. Hearing the Italian language being spoken you feel transported from Reno to Italy. I have been to Italy many times and quite frankly you will not find the food any better in Italy than at Vittorio's. It was fun to practice my Italian with Vittorio. He is from the Tuscan region of Italy and to my knowledge he is the only Italian restaurant owner from that region of Italy in Reno. I almost fell off my chair when I tasted the Cacciucco Alla Livornese it was extraordinarily good! This is a specialty seafood stew from Livorno, Italy, Vittorio's hometown. His prices for the amount of food and the quality you get are unbeatable anywhere in Reno. I am tired of all the other goofy, quasi-italian, over-rated or over-priced, self-proclaimed-best, Italian restaurants in this town, where in many cases the owners aren't even native born Italians. Vittorio's is the real deal. I can't wait for the weather to warm and Vittorio opens the enclosed patio dining and the deck seating. He'll set out the red geraniums he keeps alive all winter that adds just the right touch. In these tough economic times and the high prices in Europe most of us will be forgoing our vacations this year. Don't despair, If you want to experience Italy just go to Vittorio's
