My husband, 16 year old daughter and I went to Holiday's yesterday (4th of July) around 4:00. We waited at the hostess station for a while until I decided to approach the bartender and ask if we can sit in the lounge or dining area. She said we could sit wherever we wanted, and that she was the only one on.
We sat a bar table but found the people sitting at the bar were drunk and loud. So we asked to sit somewhere else. We sat in a patio like area. We were the only ones there not at the bar.
After waiting a while for her to come take a drink order, I decided I should jump at the chance to order an appetizer, because I didn't know when she was coming back. We ordered the buffalo chicken tender app. She came back with our drinks, and after a while a man served us our chicken. The buffalo chicken tenders were very good. Crunchy and though not dripping in sauce, it was plenty. It came with fresh cut fries, and though it was listed on the menu, the honey mustard wasn't given to us. $7.50
We waited 20 minutes for someone to come to ask for our order. Way too long. A different person came and said they would be our waitress. She grabbed our empty soda glasses to fill them. Upon returning, she said she was going to give us a couple minutes for us to decide on our order. I stopped and said we were ready.
My daughter ordered the sampler appetizer as a meal, which the jumbo onion rings are very jumbo and delicious. Potato skins and chicken tenders were great. Buffalo wings were lacking sauce. It came with all kinds of condiments on the side. $9.99
My husband got the 12 oz prime rib which comes with two sides. He decided upon the french onion soup (which was an extra .75 cents that we weren't informed about). The soup was wonderful! It was the best part of the meal. He said the prime rib was good, and the sweet potato was tasty with the side of butter and cinnamon sugar. $16.99
I was in the mood for a good steak, and decided upon the "Country Ribeye". I, too, ordered the soup and thought it was great! My steak wasn't though. It was a thick as a Wendy's burger, and some of it was medium and some well done. Though with a steak less then a half inch thick, how could it be cooked medium? Really, really disappointing. The side of mashed were fine. $15.99
We then waited for 10-15 min. after we finished our dinner, for the waitress to come back to our area of the restaurant, so that we could get our check and leave.
I would go back for the sampler and soup, but wouldn't bother with the steak. Maybe their pasta is better.
This Restaurant not only has great food, this service is outstanding, and the managers are always there to help when needed. To the lady who couldn't get out of there fast enough, you should have gotten something to go at the local gas station, you obviously don't know a good thing when its steering you in the face. Holidays keep doing what your doing, A GREAT JOB!!!!!! Kimmi
I think the people that write good reviews for this place must be sitting at the bar with a beer and an appetizer. The food and service were just terrible. My husband an I were so upset, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Our server took the menu's out of the back of his pants. We couldn't find him to get a second drink. The food was awful. To top it off, we asked for our meat to go (for the dogs) and they gave us someone else's meat. It was not our steak!
