This was by far the worst experience ever we took a RV for repairs they told us the heater was fixed we took it out and froze are butts off took it back to them for many chances to fix that and other problems had a full inspection done they missed three leaks horrible wouldnt go here if it was free.
We rented an RV through El Monty RV, for which Tony is the Albuquerque rep. We had a 1:00 PM pickup time, but due to the RV not being ready we did not get out of their until 4:00 PM which really put us behind on our trip. Tony's attitude could be described as surly at best. His customer service was horrible. Also, he does not have a waiting room. Instead there were filthy couches in the repair shop area. This went over real well with my wife and kids. His staff did try to help, but it was difficult for them because their boss did not care about taking care of the customers. The RV was a 2004 model and was fairly worn. Once we got on the road, we had generator problems. We called the 800 number for El Monte RV and they tried to hook us up with a repair shop. The problem was we were staying in remote camp sites with no cell service. We had a lot on our schedule and it was a real hassle to have to deal with getting the generator fixed. We made the decision to not mess with it. Upon returning the RV we felt there should be some adjustment to the bill for the lateness of getting the RV as well as the generator trouble. Tony could care less. He never appologized and would not negotiate the bill. If you are renting an RV out of Albuquerque, in my opinion, I would stay far away from this business. Also, if you are going to rent an RV, make sure to find out how old it is.
These guys are real pros and they take customer service to the limits. Best on-site service we've ever had, and I'll bet they can do miracles at their shop.
