We just tried Cafe Artemis for the first time. I have to say I was a little concerned that this was in a mall, but it was great! We sat outside and the heaters were not working so they brought us blankets which kept us warm. We split the Mediterranean Meze Sampler and it was almost enough for dinner. Everything on it was good, but the falafel is the best I have ever had - so light! We had the Okra and Iskender Doner, both were very tasty and we had enough left over for another meal at home. And yes -the Warm Chocolate OuzoTorte is a must!
Belly dancing, awesome food, and great prices. What more could you want?. This is my new favorite place to bring friends for dinner. I love the lamb and beef dishes, but the desserts are my favorite. I think that the one thing that makes this place special is their creativity. I had a friend order a ravioli dish which came wrapped in philo dough. Please try a dessert other than baklava because they are all really, really yummy. The best part of this place is the appetizer plate where you can try a whole bunch of new foods that I can't even spell. They also have a sampler plate for the meats which is very good. I think it is a good place to take someone who has no idea what to order since you can get these variety platters and try things until you figure out what you like. I learned that I do not like baba ganoush (spelling?), but I love just about everything else. I recommend going on a Wednesday night at about 6PM so that you are about done with you meal when the belly dancer arrives. Otherwise, it can be too loud to socialize with your table.
Great food. Lots of tasty choices for both veg and non-veg eaters. The staff is very friendly and they are especially kid friendly. My wife and I go early in the evening before the crowds come and they go out of their way to make the kid's experience good too. At the same time, it's an interesting enough place for a casual business dinner.
