User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBoth restaurants (Soledad and Gonzales)are still shining stars in South County, Salinas, and all of Monterey County. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
I have recently eaten at two restaurants in Saliinas and was disappointed: Normas and First Awakenings.

Try the EXCELLENT ribeye steak with a WONDERFUL thick milk shake. This restaurant is better than many of the places I have eaten at in the city of Salinas. The service here is great and the prices are reasonable. It is the only restaurant in South County that I eat at over and over and over...
