User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe food is GREAT. So good. We make it a tradition to go atleast once every other week. The Palak is delicious and the Masala makes your mouth water just thinking about it. I haven't had the brunch so I cannot comment on that. We have our favorites and usually just stick to those. The other reviews are very critical. It is an indian restaurant. What did you expect to see on the tv? MTV, VH1? And for the comment about old horse face ladies, not sure what strip clubs you attend but when you go to Haandi's, you are going for a quiet ambience and great food. We may name our daughter Haandi. :)

OK. I read the reviews and was favorably impressed so we tried this place. Indian cuisine is one of our FAVORITES. I don't usually sit in a restaurant and make high praises to my wife as to what a great choice we made by coming here. But that is exactly what I did. The only other GOOD Indian restaurant WE have found is in Pasadena which is a little far to drive from Upland. This place fills the bill in every way. The food is EXCELLENT and the price is VERY reasonable. The variety is also great. Something for every taste. If you have any desire to try Indian cuisine or are already hooked, I would highly recommend Haandi's. ENJOY.
