Black folks beware! As usual, BJ's can be a pretty busy place, so I like to call-in for pickup. Now I'm Afrm. Amer, and I personally don't like to throw out the "race-card", but I think I had a pretty racist experience at this BJ's. After standing in line to pickup my order for 20 minutes while the lone cashier answered ph calls and assisted two people ahead of me, I was literally side stepped by a Caucasian customer who had been seated the entire time, but decided to get in line and step in front of me, damn near standing on my shoes. He had a buzzer and was waiting for a table, so I have no idea why he wanted to cut in front of me in a take-out line?? Pissed by the audacity of such a blatant move, I stepped right around him claiming my spot back in line. Finally it was my turn to pickup my food which appeared to be one of the many bags at the counter, a lady customer, again Caucasian walked up from the side, puts her money on the counter and tells the cashier she is there to pickup her food - completely cutting everyone else off who had been waiting. You could understand how pissed I was by that move; and wouldn't you know, the cashier completely ignored me and attended to her. And guess what ethnicity he was. I simply walked out never to return and forever to remind ppl of my experience before going back to THAT particular BJ's.

bad hostess. i like the food and the server was nice but took us a while to get seats. we went here on september 1 2007 in the afternoon. the blonde hostess did not seat us right away. the place wasn't even busy. we got our seats in the back room and the room was practically empty except for two other parties. the hostess was playing with us. i was suspicious when she let 6 other parties go right to a table when they got there. we waited for at least 40 minutes. i don't mind waiting, it's the way she treated us. dopey blonde. you see us standing there. you know we're waiting. another guy working there didn't even help us. both of them just standing there. i don't blame him that much because he doesn't really know what was going on. we were pissed but didn't make a big deal out of it. people just got to treat people better.
