User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI have eaten here many times over the years. The food is wonderful. The place is very small and a little crowded if busy but the staff have always been attentive. If you love sushi, you won't be disappointed.

First off all, none of the servers even looked our way as we waited for our table, not even a cursoy glance as they cleaned their empty tables. Secondly they served all soft drinks in dixie cups, and provided paper plates for side dishes; ever hear of restaurant supply?
But the crowning turd on this establishment was by far, the defensive, uptight, downright mind-spinning reaction of the proprietress. After waiting 35 minutes I questioned where our sushi was. She was downright surly, and quite a beast of human being, spewing such nonsense as "this is not a fast food restaurant", and "it's not uncommon to have to wait over 30 minutes for a sushi order". What???
After escorting my wife and 2 small daughters from this disreputable establishment, the hulking, froth-spewing excuse for a human proprietress proceeded to '86' my family from the restaurant.
kind of funny...
But really, avoid this place. There are much better dining options within Solvang.
