Max Nar!! Absolutely one of the Best resturaunts in Tahoe! Great food and a fun atmosphere!

Let me begin by saying I did not dine at South Lake Tahoe's Fire & Ice. I happened to run across their local.yahoo.com listing on 8/15 while researching for my trip the next day. When I clicked on the website that was listed above (fireandice.com, which is NOT the correct website address) I was redirected to a jewelry store. Say what?

That weekend during my Tahoe trip I stayed at the Marriott Timber Lodge property located right next to the Heavenly Village gondola. I spotted Fire & Ice while I was there and checked it out. It turns out the place is not a jewelry store; it's a restaurant. And just so happens that it's the restaurant adjoining the Marriott Timber Lodge.

I checked the place out. The restaurant is a Mongolian BBQ type of restaurant where you pick out your ingredients and hand them to the chef to prepare your meal for you. The food is cooked on a huge round hot plate in the center of the restaurant. You can watch him prepare your food and it's quite the social setting as everyone else is doing the same.

The have an outdoor patio with fire pits. It's a great place to hang out in the evening with your friends/family while partaking a few adult beverages.

By the way, the correct website address for Fire & Ice is http://www.fire-ice.com.

I hope you find this information helpful. Hopefully the next reviewer will have more to say about the food and service than the first reviewer did.
