This is the worst service I ever experienced from a dealership. The sale is not professional, he gave us fale information and told us that we wasted his time and used the "f" word...
My husband and I are looking for a new lease because our current lease is ending begining of next month. We decided to look at the Audi and we didn't think that we will buy it at the same date, maybe a couple of weeks later but the sale told us that he can push the contract date to 15 days later. We figured it would be find, so we decided to do the deal. We asked the sale at lease 4 times about the 45 days. He said yes, no problem. When we got to the finance office, the finance manager told us that there's no such thing for a lease. The sale try to back it up by saying that we will get a 10 days grace period, so it will be 40 days anyways. He asked: "isn't that good enough?" We try to tell him that it's different. By him telling us that, means we don't send in the payment before or by the due date because we can use the 10 days grace period to make it feels like a 45 days contract. Can someone tell me what will that mean if you don't send it your payment, any kind of payment, by the DUE date? We told the finance manager that we couldn't do the deal, we understand that it's a very good deal and they helped us a lot but that just didn't work, it's not we were told through out the whole time and we need to leave. The finance manager is okay with that but the sale guy came after us and keep telling us that he work so "f" hard to get us the deal (this is when he use the "f"word) and made everybody in the office mad, we decided to leave because the of the contract date? He kept saying that it's the same as having the contract date to be 45 days after. If we're in they similar business, we should know and not to waste his time, then walked away.
We were going to go back two weeks later to get the car, we told the finance guy that we feel bad about walking aways from the deal, but we were mis-informed. We know that they gave us a good deal and we also understand the rate might be different or the car we looked at might not be there two weeks after but we will go back. But after what the sale did to us, I don't think I will ever go back or tell any body we know to go. First of all, the blaming about us wasting his time because we have knowledge about financing(we don't know anything about leasing). Second, all he have to do is to talk to the finance office and let them know that he suggested the 45 days contract to the customer, is it possible? He did not ask and try to cover it up with the 10 day grace period. I wonder what dealership will want there customer to not send in payment by the due date. Third, he didn't do his work right and blame us at the end for wasting his time is not right and not professional. Last, doesn't matter what business you are in, using the "f" word is very dis-respecting and again very not professional. I just want to buy a car, I don't understand why we have to take this kind of attitute.
Customer service here is great. Everyone is very coopertive. Will always return here when my lease is up!
