OVER PRICED FOR A CROWDED FARE.!!!!
This place is more of a hang out than a brew pub serving the minimum requirement of descent fair. I have eaten their and I think the place is done nice... cosmetically speaking of course, but the food is so so. The burgers are OK, the beer the same and the issue is that it's too crowded that you make room. my frinds and I beleive they have an ongoing bet within the staff to see how many people that can pack.
If you like so so food and being cramed, then Egan's is your place.

I visit Ireland every other year & when I sat down for dinner at Egan's this past Saturday evening, I felt like I was on holiday! The food was the most authentic I've had in the US. The bar was in full swing & yet you could still chat & enjoy your meal. The portions were generous & the little touches s/as the homemade tarter sauce & 2 kinds of cabbage w/the corned beef enhanced the meal. The staff is so nice & the bar is lovely. The Sticky toffee pudding is a must!

The food really is great. The food gets five stars. The beer they brew is pretty decent, but I loved the fact that the carry a variety of bottles, including my favorite: Chimay. It's a bit pricey, and tends to be very crowded. They don't take reservations either. Despite that, I really do like it there.
