I LOVE this place! The have the best sushi, always fresh. The hibachi menu is awesome. They serve huge portions. The staff is always friendly. My husband and I are regulars (at least once a week). If you are a sushi fan, the volcano roll and the New York roll are the best!
They have a nice selection of menu items at seemingly reasonable prices: chicken, steak, or shrimp $15; combinations, $21-25. The hibachi table seated 8, but they put up 10 chairs. The waitress missed about 15% of the orders, couldnât count the number of salads or soups, was constantly coming back and repeating herself.
It is doubtful any of the âchefsâ can spell Japan, let alone find it on a globe The âchefâ put on a show that would rate perhaps a â4â in the far out suburbs of Atlanta or Denver. His timing was completely off; to eat hot food, you had to eat in the order he cooked. I had steak and shrimp. He cooked fried rice, vegetables, steak, chicken, shrimpâvastly overcookedâso either the steak or the shrimp had to be cold when served.
However, it was much better than Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans, Don Pablo, Olive Garden, Frischâs, Shoneys, or any fast food restaurant, etc., etc., etc.
The greatest thing about low expectations is that you are not easily disappointed. Keep that in mind in you decide to dine here.
And then check your options again. See if there is a Holiday Inn nearby. Or a Pizza Hut.
We always order sushi. There's one roll with asparagus that they deep fry...fabulous!
