User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsJust arrived home from a LOVELY stay at The Apple Tree Bed and Breakfast in Damascus, VA. This B&B is in a PERFECT location for doing The Virginia Creeper Trail. The breakfast was wonderful and the Innkeepers were welcoming and friendly. Thank you Debbie and Les!!

My wife and I have stayed at the Apple Tree B&B twice and had a wonderful stay. This B&B is not full of frills and is an outstanding cost/lodging/breakfast you can experience. We found the owners, Debbie and Les, to be courteous and attentive to our needs. The breakfast provided was excellent and we had great conversations around the table with other guests. On one trip, a producer from the HGTV show in Knoxville, TN, was at our table and received much input from several wives who watched the show. This B&B is very popular to those who are hiking the Appalachian Trail and bike riding the Virginia Creeper (which runs from Abington, VA thru Damascus to White Mountain. What a wonderful ride up and down the trail which is 34 miles in length. We highly recommend that you stay here for a wonderful stay but don't expect all the expensive frills of high end B&B's..

The Appletree B&B is located in the heart of Damascus and is very pretty. The room was adequate and the breakfast was good. We were quite taken aback by the Innkeeper. She was very unfriendly and inhospitable. We were not offered any extras such as wine or hot cidar. We only saw them at breakfast.When we had to run a quick errand she told us to go turn off the one light we had left on!
