Ruth's Chris Steak House - Charlotte - South Park

We enjoy Ruths Chris a lot. It is without a doubt, the place with the BEST tasting Filet in the area, if not the state. The meat is so good, the taste and flavor is rememberable. Of course it has to be choice meat, from some ranch that caters to RC, because we have never had a Filet that has the same great taste as the ones we have had at RC's.

The filets come to you on a hot plate in butter, we always ask for a medium rare filet with extra butter. My wife mops up the butter and flavors that drip into the butter. There is never anything left on her plate.

The sides are large and feed us both. My wife's favorite is the Pecan Encrusted Sweet Potato Casserole...it is soo good that if fills two courses, side entree and dessert. I love the creamed spinach, its always good. We don't really think the Garlic Mashed potatoes are the best we have had.

The shrimp cocktail at RC's may look pricey on the menu, but those shrimp are the largest shrimp I have ever seen as a cocktail shrimp. They were very tasty. We get both the home made cocktail sauce - spicy! and the remoulade, very nice.

Our favorite salad is the 1/2 head of lettuce with the blue cheese dressing. The dressing is like no other. It has a great flavor and consistency. We ask for extra, its that good. The lettuce is always crispy and fresh.

As far as desserts go, the Creme Boule is the best around, by far. It has a nice flavor, pleasant coating and vanilla bean on the bottom. The berries that are added to the side are always giant, fresh and sweet - no matter what time of the year we have been there. Its like they have some magic garden where they get their fruits and vegetables. Even during one of those spinach "scares" we were able to order Creamed Spinach at RC's. All the other desserts we had were excellent - Bread Pudding..Chocolate Cake.. top of the line and very delicious.

The services is always Great. They all make us feel welcomed and appreciated, and all of give us perfect service on every visit.

We visit Ruths Chris on a regular basis - Birthdays, Anniversaries, or when we can afford it. It is pricey, but well worth it. Especial this month as they have specials that make it more affordable to dine out at a GREAT restaurant. We have been to other Steak houses in Charlotte, but even though Ruths Chris may be a little pricey, we find that it is always worth it. We may eat out less often, just so that we can spend our dinning dollars at this fine quality restaurant.

Took my wife here last night and had a wonderful evening. This was my first time at this location and the service was amazing, the food was great and the dining area was so amazing and not bunched up. I really enjoyed myself. The bar area is a bit small but that's really not why you go there. If you have a wait it's a great waiting area and has a great feel.
