| About: | The first & only steakhouse of its kind in the Louisville area, Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse serves only dry-aged USDA prime beef & is the only restaurant in the area to dry-age all beef, lamb, & even bison on premise. While steak is the foundation of the menu, Jeff Ruby's promises to please seafood lovers as well with its raw/sushi bar & seafood entrees. Jeff Ruby regulars will be pleased to know that their favorite signature items from the Cincinnati restaurants will be well represented in Louisville. The Shorterhouse, bone-in filet, the 7 cheese baked macaroni, creamed spinach, potatoes Anna, & of course Jeff Ruby's secret recipe cheesecake will all be staples of the Louisville menu. Styled after the great NY steakhouses of the 1930's & 40's, Jeff Ruby's promises to be as pleasing visually as it is to the palate. French art-deco design, plush mohair upholstery, hand selected antique furniture & a 1200 gallon shark tank are some of the highlights of the gorgeous design. |

Steak, aged on the premises, is excellent. My wife had the filet and I had the New York strip; I can recommend both. They were cooked exactly as ordered. The sides are limited to mostly potatoes. Everything is a la carte, and you definitely need to bring a wad of money to pay for it.
Delicious menu. Excellent services. I will definitley return and would refer.
juice free better than smoke free: eaten there once. will definitely go back now that the owner had the guts to stand up for what is right. if the juice sues, the patrons will fund the defense
