Cons: Price for what you get even though has improved still is a little high.
First two times i ate there i was a guest of someone else who took us out for dinner. I am glad i was not paying for what i got! Needless to say i hit the hamburger joint both times after eating there.
I am happy to say things have changed a little since the first two times. I have been back twice and got great size portions. The price was a little high still but so was the quality. It is nice to have a fine dining option here in our own back yard. Again the Food has always been great, people nice, and if the portion sizes stay larger the Yancey House has a great future. I highly recommend!-

The food is excellent. None of the food comes out of a can or box, it is all fresh food. For the amount of food you get and the quality it is very well worth it. The environment is wonderful and the service is excellent.
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsmost of the food is really good, but some taste like it came straight out of a can or box. The prices are way to high. The House is beautiful the staff are really friendly!
