Dr. Adkins put me at ease right away. It is the first time I have not felt nervous in a dentist's chair. She is straightforward with her assessment, yet very kind and understanding. She listened to my concerns without being condescending as some of my previous dentists have been. She did great work and explained things to my satisfaction. Her staff is awesome. I feel the charges are more than reasonable I was told how much it would cost before the work began and it cost just a bit less on checkout. No hidden fees or surprises. I wasn't crazy about the location, but after reading the positive reviews, I knew I had to give her a try and I certainly do not regret my decision. By the way, the dental chairs are super comfy :)

Dr.Adkins and her staff are awesome.They are friendly yet professional.I was really nervous about going to a dentist downtown but once I got there and saw the type of environment they work in I felt so much better.Her office is beautiful, neat and clean. It is beautifully decorated with a hint of professionalism.I enjoyed my visit.Her dental hygenist was friendly, approachable and very knowledgable.Her receptionist was also friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend her to anyone.When Dr.Adkins came in to examine me she greeted me and then explained to me exactly what she was going to do; most dentists just examine you and then tell you the results after. I also liked the fact that the hygenist and the dental asst also explained to me everything they were doing and seeing throughout the examine. They explained the medical terms and procedures to me as well as the normal expectations of each procedure.I was about 10 min late due to invalid directions and getting lost twice but they were courteous and understanding and told me it was okay things happen. That made me feel so much better because I hate being late for scheduled appointments.

I had an unpleasant experience with my last dentist, so Dr. Adkins and her crew were a breath of fresh air!! Courteous and professional from the minute I walked in the door (thanks for having a sense of humor, as well). What sticks out the most from my visit to Downtown Dental, is their thoroughness, attention to detail, and a genuine concern for my well being. My teeth feel so clean!!! Thank you ladies for a pleasant experience (That's right, I said pleasant when talking about a visit to the dentist), and thank you for turning my :-( into :-) See you in six months!!! PS, The Lobby looks great!!
