Amazingly authentic italian atmosphere here in a non-discript location. The owners greet the regulars by name and anticipate your selections. Share a brief story from the home country ...back in Sicily. Oh...yes; may I say the absolutely best pizza in south Florida. Once you try this pizza; I guarantee that you will be back again!

Finally, REAL NY-style pizza in Miami! Ask for it well done and you'll get a delightfully crispy outer crust that's still soft on the inside. (The normal way is a little too doughy for me, but some people prefer that.) There's excellent flavor from perfectly spiced sauce, whole milk mozzarella and all the right toppings (including fresh garlic!). There's not much room inside, but the pizza is definitely worth it. Call ahead and get it to go if you have to. Don't waste your money on skim-milk pizzas made on conveyer belts (Domino's, Papa John's, etc.). This place will raise your expectations of what pizza is supposed to be.

Another great pizza: This place is probably one of te best pizza places in Miami. Together with Two Brothers pizza (both stores are owned by two brothers), Vesuvio gives an authentic taste of Italian Pizza in Kendall. The place is small but the service is great. Prices are great. If you are in a hurry call ahead so they prepared it for you. I like to get there and chat with the owner, who is from Italy.
