Linh Garden Chinese Restaurant

Service is good if the restaurant is empty. With the economy, The owner has to do all of the table waiting. If you see more than two families, then move on elsewhere. Last Sunday I wanted to treat my wife to lunch. We went with about 12 friends. Two other families showed up. After our order was taken with our group, we watched as everyone was served drinks, appetizers, their main courses while we had nothing. The owner served the other families and was hard pressed to keep up. We sat there talking and watching everyone eat. After an hour, my wife was faint from dropping blood sugar. We watched our friends box up their meals and get ready to leave. I would have walked out, but did not want to make a scene. We were still ignored. When she finally noticed we had nothing, she apologized and said her husband cooked the wrong meal. When we finally were served, it was not what we ordered. Filled with meats my wife can't eat. The beef tastes like it has been soaked in baking soda or meat tenderizer overnight. Shrimp makes her skin break out. Pork she doesn't like and tough as shoe leather. The owner noticed we didn't eat most of the dish and asked why. I mentioned it was not what we ordered and contains food she doesn't eat. We were still charged anyway and left with a box of dog food. My wife cried over the money we spent that she could have used on something she wanted. Ruined the rest of our day. Bad experience after years of dining at a local restaurant a mile from our home. That is the last time after 3 disappointments before.

FRESH, FRESH, FRESH!! My family and I dine out a LOT. The Chinese food served at Linh Garden is simply the best. There is no buffet, which is fine with me....I prefer my food to be made to order. The owners are the nicest people I've ever met and really care about their customers. If you like Chinese, give them a try.
