Miyako Restaurant

My husband and I went to Miyako's for Valentine's Dinner. The wait was pretty long, but that is to be expected at the best restaurant within an hour drive! (We were able to have a few drinks in the shoulder-to-shoulder bar while we waited.) I was excited, and knew it had to be worth the wait. The other people waiting were not upset by the wait, and the overall mood was uplifting.
The service was FaBuLoUs and the grill was such a great experience! I have not yet gone to get just sushi, but I can't wait to go back! While I agree with other reviews; this meal will cost you more than most others... you get what you pay for!!! It was fabulous! You would pay the same for that quality of food anywhere else. My husband and I will DEFINITELY be back!!! MIYAKO'S ROCKS!!

Food is good, but the prices lately have gone quite high. Especially at dinner yet the amount of food is the same as for lunch. Service is good most of the time. I've had 2 experiences where the waitress brings the salad before we were done with the food and brought the food before we were done with the salad and so now we had all three courses of the meal stacked at the table. Overall however the service has been pretty good.

Probably the best restaurant in Granbury. Romantic and cozy and very classy. The service was excellent, the food was Ok, if you like authentic Japanese fare. But the mood was really nice for a casual date or special occasion or just to hang at the bar. It was an enjoyable experience.
