User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWent for lunch mid-week and was not disappointed with the food. Gumbo was a bit too much rice and okra, but it had good flavor. The oyster po-boy was outstanding, crisp crust with juicy oysters on a really fresh french roll. Although, the place has the ambiance of a Trailways Bus Station, I will go back for the food.

Pretty good food but they are SO SKIMPY on their sides. You get about a tablespoon of each side. Open your takeout before you leave. Why they do this is beyond me!
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsFirst time I ate at Podnaâs the food was delicious, great gumbo, excellent jalapeno catfish, great service. The second time I ate at Podnaâs the gumbo was great, however the jalapeno catfish was dry; the crust was overcooked and bordering on burnt. The hushpuppies were overcooked. The hushpuppies were easy to eat, once you have something soft to bite into after the first bite. The iced tea was stale but you can cover the staleness of the tea with as much lemon as you like. Lemons are readily available. The service was great once again. I will not be back.
