This review is for UPDOs, not haircuts!
I dont spend a ridiculous amount on hair, but Im a firm believer that your hair is just one of the things in life that you cant skimp on. A bad haircut lasts for a LONG TIME and a bad style will forever be immortalized in photos!!!

Like most everything in Crawfordville, they are pretty much 1 of only a few in town. Our entire bridal party got updos there. Only 2 came out decent and they were simple french twists. Most of us had pictures of what we wanted, the rest had simple instructions for how they wanted their hair styled. For those of us that had pictures, NONE of our hair even REMOTELY resembled the pictures. We each paid $50 for our "style". The "style" was done in 30-40 minutes each and consisted of a ridiculous amount of teasing, bobby pins and a can of hair spray.
Honestly, if it wasnt for fear of upsetting the bride, we would have refused to pay, it was that bad. Im not exagerating when I say it is THE WORSE Ive ever had.
Perhaps I expect too much, but Ive paid less for updos at other salons that looked EXACTLY like the picture and took up 2 hours to recreate! Its about QUALITY people, and Dazzles rips you off where updos are concerned!

Quick- Absolutely!
Quality work?-Absolutely NOT!

My point is: If your special event is important to you, beware! If you have had amazing updos done elsewhere in your lifetime, take this as your warning! I mean, updos are usually for a very important, very special event, so think about that before you have ANYTHING done here.

Friendly atmosphere while still maintaining a professional attitude.
I have been to various hair salons in the Tallahassee area and these girls were the only ones that I will come back too.
The were very good at getting my unruly hair to look good not only when I walked out of door but the next day it still looked good. Something that hasn’t happen in any other place that I have been in this area. The shop is small and hard to find but, well worth the drive too Crawfordville if you live in the Tallahassee Area
