| About: | "Local first, organic whenever possible, and with Aloha always" is the mantra upon which this unpretentious neighborhood bistro was founded. With a menu that changes daily to reflect the freshest market ingredients, Town features hand-cut pastas and gnocchi, slow-braised meats, fresh local seafood, a wine list of small artisan producers, and hand-crafted cocktails. Drawing inspiration from classic recipes of the Mediterranean, Town's cuisine is best described as Contemporary American with an Italian sensibility, where the ingredients are allowed to shine and nothing is wasted. With bar and "dog-friendly" patio seating reserved for walk-in guests, the restaurant has become a favorite for casual impromptu dining as well as for special occasions. Town is located in hip Kaimuki, just minutes from Waikiki, and is loved by locals and visitors alike. Go to Town. |

amazing. fresh, organic, local, beautiful. Bowl of polenta is like a delicious creamy corn dream. the salads are super ono. yummy organic wine. fave restaurant on oahu. we love town.
One of my favorite places to eat in Hawaii, and boy do I love to eat out. The steak here is the best tasting steak I had, the clams were excellent, and the clam chowder was exotically delicious. This is a hidden jewel that not much people know about. But honestly, the people who know about keep coming back.
Best restaurant in Hawaii: Save your money, there's no need to hit Chai's Island Bistro or Sam Choy. Town (and the new Downtown) are the best restaurants on Oahu and possibly the entire island chain. The first time I ate there the chef walked past my table with the basil he had just cut from the herb garden out front, basil which was in my penne ten minutes later. It smelled amazing. They specialize in usingas much local organic produce as possible, and it shows in their innovative flavor combinations and always fresh food. I've been there a dozen times and am never disappointed, unlike most other restaurants on the rock.
