Gonzo's

Well I had heard some good things about Gonzo’s so I thought I would drive up and see what the buzz was all about. I first check out their website and I have to say it’s a good design, and makes you think this place is fun and hopping. I was there for lunch to see if they offer the same service as maybe they did during the night shift and I was happily surprised, the only person that was working on the floor was the bartender who also was acting as the waitress. She was very nice and welcoming, but I was very disappointed with the dirty sticky tables and the poor preparation of the food. I had a simple French Dip sandwich and I have to tell you it was the worst cut of top sirloin meat I had in a long time. It was dry and full of fat so no flavor in the meat at all. It seems Gonzo’s is centered on creating a fun environment with many choices of drink and games but it falls short in the kitchen. I tipped well for the wonderful service and I would be willing to try the place again as long as I wasn’t hungry.

The Cowboy Burger is probably the greatest hamburger I have ever tasted. Fantastic! Can't say enough great words about it.

Gonzo's is a nice place to drink but too much money for pichers an food I think.Good place to watch football / Sports an nice relaxing chairs an tables..
