I WAS APPROACHED BY A WOMAN ON ALLEN STREET BY THE NAME OF SILVIA, SHE ADVISED US THAT THE FOOD AND SERVICE AT THE LAMPLIGHT ROOM RESTURANT WAS EXCELLENT, UPON OUR ARRIVAL WE WERE GREATED BY A NICE YOUNG LADY BY THE NAME OF DENISE. WE ORDERED A MARGARITA THAT WAS AWSOME AND ASKED THE SERVER WHAT SHE SUGGESTED FOR DINNER , SHE TOLD US THAT THE RELLENO PLATE WAS A GOOD MEAL AND THAT THE STEAK AND SALOMN WAS ALSO GOOD , WELL IT WASNT JUST GOOD IT WAS GREAT!!! DENISE TOOK GREAT CARE OF US AND WENT ON TO TELL US THAT HER HUSBAND WAS THE COOK...WELL TALK ABOUT TEAM WORK WITH GREAT SERVICE!! THE LAMPLIGHT ROOM IS DEFINALTY A GREAT PLACE TO EAT!! WE CANT WAIT TO GO BACK AND VISIT AGAIN!!

To say that the food or service is anything but atrocious at THE LAMPLIGHT ROOM RESTAURANT, is simply ludacris. This is seriously the worst food, service, and overall experience I have ever had dining at a restaurant! I would never recommend it to anyone.

A group of us were greeted by a lady on Allen Street, and she persuaded us with her misleading promotions of her restaurant. She claimed it was the best mexican food in Tombstone, and that the prices couldnt be beat. When we were sat, the server did not get us our chips and salsa until 15 minutes after were had recieved our drinks. The chips were stale and were inedible. When our food was served we were absolutely disappointed. Chicken strips that were oredered were completely over-salted, fies were cold and tasted old, taco shells were store bought, and so was guacamole. The Lamplight claims authentic mexican food, but it is the farthest thing from it. We also ordered a chicken taco salad for $9 dollars which was no bigger then a tostada and was completely not worth it. Not to mention we sat the entire meal with our drinks empty and the server never checked to see how we were doing once.

When we expressed how dissapointed and unsatisfied we were with everything to the owner she was not apologetic at all, instead she was deffensive and told us there was no way the food was bad and that the server was new. We had to give the server an 18% tip because we were a party of 5, when the server did not deserve that at all. The owner did not try to work with us at all and seemingly didnt care about how unhappy we were. We paid $55 dollars for a disgusting meal and horrible service.

Bottom Line: NEVER GO THERE!!!

Silvia is the owner of the restaurant and she is syco! she is a very pathetic and crazy woman or should i say thing! Me my mom my grandma my sister and my dad and little brother went there on a family vacation for lunch and my mom asked the new waitress if the drinks were free refill and the very nice waitress said yes and we were about to leave and Silvia tried to charge us for the refills and my mom would not pay it so Silvia called the marshal and he came over and my mom said we came for dinner and all of a sudden Silvia shouted LUNCH! not dinner! The marshal put his hand up and said shhhh she is talking! he said that to silvia and so my mom went on talking and told him about the drink thing and he he said we had to pay it but then my mom said OK and my lil bro (very cute!) he took a ton of straws and Silvia went to grab my lil bro's hand and the marshal pulled her back and yelled at her she said we had to pay for all the straws and i was sick of her and said dude there like a dollar chill! she looked at me with the sassiest look ever she yelled its theft he is a thief! i was like oh my god! she looked at me with an evil look and then my mom paid and we left and we looked back and the marshal didn't leave ha ha i laughed cause i think he was yelling at her so DON'T go to the lamplight room restaurant in tombstone Arizona ever! if you do go there please mess with her its really fun =) but she is a very crazy woman she needs mental help.
