   Be very careful!!!
   We hired them to do room addition since Jan 17 2008. As of today, Aug 17, 2008, job not quite completed yet even they promised 3 and a half month! The main 2 biggest problem are concrete around the house and damaged front and back yard. We have pictures for you to see at www.myspace.com/markmano2008.
   Concrete did not level and slope away from the house. Water puddles everywhere. We asked them to fix it right but all they did was just a quick patch for a few times and last attempt was a re-surface but very sloppy job. Front yard was dug up for sewer line but left the grass died for months and refused to repair. Back yard was used as a dumpster till most of the grass died. Sprinklers were removed but refused to install them back (sprinkler controls missing!). All they did was installed a water faucet and a pvc pipe.
   Window was installed with wrong type. After 2 months, it fixed but still with wrong type (instead of new construction type, we got retrofit type)
   Doors which supposed to open outwards to the new room but instead, they open inwards
   Stucco cracks after a few days. They also did a quick fix by using stucco patch which made it worse. Finally, they redid the whole thing.
   Watch out for these phases "Don't worry" "Let see what we can do" "We will make you happy"
   We refused to pay the last payment because the job is not completed and we are not happy with the workmanship. They put the lien against our property. We hired a lawyer and the process of filing claim against the company for the damages they have cause and the poor job they did.
   And after read this post you still want to hire them, good luck!. At least hold the last payment big enough for them to care to do the job right!

   I would highly recommend The California Construction Center for any project anyone might have. They provided services to me from the blue prints to my bran new addition. I added a whole new floor! I got the most amazing balcony on the second floor overlooking the valley. I'm so excited. Thank you so much OZ for your patience and kindness.

   As all construction projects go, especially in additions to existing buildings, there are many occasions of stress and friction in the erection of the new structure that connects into an existing structure, yet California Construction Center’s Project Team handled these tough situations with professionalism, integrity, and most of all, with the best interest of the owner in mind at all times. Their constant input and helpful ideas aided in the successful completion of a great project.
