10/22/07 I went to see Dreamgirls this past weekend and I must say, that show was absolutely wonderful. It was indeed "Broadway in Baltimore." I enjoyed every minute of it. The food was great and the service was just wonderful. If you miss this show, you have missed a treat. I would recommend this show to any one. Those people can sing!!!!!! I loved the show.

Toby's Dinner Theater is a great time waiting for you to come and enjoy! I recently went to see "Dreamgirls".I tell you I thought I was at a theater somewhere on Broadway. Before the actual show, there is first a salad bar to enjoy then you are directed to a buffet. The food was delicious! From backed mac and cheese to smoked salmon to hand carved meats..everything was fantastic! They offered deserts, an ice cream bar, cheesecake or chocolate cake, your choice. The show followed dinner and the performances were fabulous! The singer was, the production was nothing less then you would expect to see on Broadway. I must admit the young lady as "Effie" did her character justice, her voice was awesome!! It was a great experience especially when the performers came out in character to serve us after the first act. The wait staff are the performers!! This fact made it easy to tip. If you've never experienced dinner theater before, make your first experience one at Toby's...it's well worth the time and money....ENJOY!
