User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe've been going to Ellen's for a couple years now and we've never left hungry. The food is delicious, better than you'd expect this far "inland". It's always filling. The service is excellent, it's like having a nice relaxing meal at your friends house. I recommend their fried chicken, I get it with the onion rings and it's so good! My husband loves the haddock baked or fried, with french fries. Oh and their prices are pretty good compared to other places in town. You can't beat them.

It's OK, but certainly noithing to write home about. It's a small place with bright lights and zero atmosphere. The food is ok, but nothing special. Maybe ok for a quick lunch, but I wouldn't waste my time going there for dinner. There are much better places in the area. My guess is this place won't be around very long.

My husband and I eat out 7 days a week and at least 3-4 times a week you'll find us at Ellens. Not only is the food excellent, but you get more then enough to fill you up. The owners are always very friendly and they make you feel right at home the minute you walk in. And boy, if you can get Chuck to talk, has he ever got some good stories to tell.
