Big Daddy's Bar-B-Q

Agree, the food at Big Daddy's is usually very good! I love the Sweet Potato fries! Service, has at times, been a little less than friendly but it is usually pretty good. I've had the beef brisket everytime and I absolutely love it! Live music on Friday nights is great too! All in all, its one of my favorite places to eat in the Lawrenceburg area!

Ate there 6/13/09. Service was not so good but the food was good. Not great, not bad, just good. We had the all you can eat rib special for $15.95. We waited for 30 mins for one order of soup beans and then 20 mins later we got our rib dinners. The ribs were tender and tasted good, there were a variety of sauces to choose from and there was something for everyone, there was a sweet bbq sauce, a tangy vinegary bbq sauce and a bbq hot sauce. The ribs are cooked a little different, I think they may be braised, they are definitely not grilled and not rubbed. We ordered seconds which may have been the last of the ribs because as we were waiting for our reorder the waitress took down the special. The second order of ribs were dry and chewy and no amount of sauce could help. I would recommend the sweet potato fries and the cornbread, they were both good. I should also say that there were only 2 waitresses working and they were running but I'm not sure why we had to wait so long for ribs that were probably already prepared and just needed to be dished. As we were visiting from out of town I dont think we would go there again. But its always worth a try to find the best bbq!

I saw the other persons review and not sure where they ate, but when I ate at Big Daddy's the food was great,the pork was tender and juicy, the cornbread was some of the best I've ever tasted, the atmoshpere was all about BBQ and good home cookin. In fact I am heading back there tonight.
