    My wife and I have been to Vitale's a dozen times or so. The atmosphere is nice, the food is excellent. The only thing that is not up to par is the service. The service has been horrible there every time we have gone there, whether at lunch or dinner time. I realize good food can take awhile to prepare, but the wait staff is unattentive and slow.
    We would go there more often, it just takes way too long to get out of there.

    This place is great. The food is amazing and very reasonable. There is a great bar area and usually entertainment on the weekends. It's definatly one of my favorite restaurants and I highly recommend it.

    The one thing that can make or break a restaurant is the food and the service. The service is horrible here. First of all I have given this restaurant several chances. I've tried them at lunch and dinner. The food is inconsistent and mediocre at best. You have to ask for everything..napkins, drink refills, specials, soup of the day, etc. And the drink refills will cost you each time you order a coke or iced tea. When you are paying $2.00+ for an iced tea, it should include a refill, especially at lunch. And I have been to many places that have a bar and they still will refill your iced tea and soda without additional cost. Plus, when I payed the bill, the waitress gave me back the incorrect change and when questioned she told me she didn't have it because "she has to provide her own book" and couldn't give me the correct change. What does that mean??!! But she rounded the dollar amount down and shorted me! I guess she was assuming that I could just give her that as part of the tip? I was NEVER denied the correct change for payment of the bill at any other restaurant...and I have been to many. They did somehow get the correct change from the bar but took too long to give it to me so I left. I simply took it out of her tip. Unbelieveable!
