I wish I'd known that this store carries used maternity clothes during my last pregnancy! The prices are so much more reasonable than the maternity stores, and the clothing looks like new.
The resale items are all top-quality -- she does not accept anything that looks like it's been worn. But the resale items aren't the only reason to shop there. The store carries unique boutique-quality kids' clothes, wooden and bamboo toys, a great selection of cloth diapers, carriers, safe baby-feeding products (including stainless steel sandwich and soup carriers), and some of the best preschool shoes I've seen.
She seems to have the standard "store credit" policy with the clothes she accepts for resale, though there's a bonus if you bring in used "See Kai Run" shoes in good condition.
Many of her products are locally made, often by WAHMs. She considers the long-term impact of each item she chooses to carry, down to the amount of post-consumer waste in her bags. The store also works with a number of charities, such as Esplanade House and Nickels for NICU.
Spend a few minutes chatting, and you'll discover a wealth of information about cloth diapering, baby-wearing, baby-feeding, and sustainability.
You'll also find a shop owner who'll bend over backwards to meet your needs.
Very unhappy with my experience. Did not feel that owner has integrity! My advise to you if you are "selling" is watch carefully while she "adds" up how much she is "paying" you, although there is no cash payments, only trade, despite advertisement of "cash for clothes". Too bad because it is a cute store and a great concept.
I love love love this place. I can shop and there is a safe and secure are afor my kids to play. The owner is always there and is very helpful! I would reccomend this store to anyone!

Wow- I trade items all the time and have always felt I get a fair trade value. Also I get cash for my older daughters clothes, I think it sizes 2 to 5 that she can pay out for. The smaller sizes get store credit, but it says so in her add. Besides your getting credit towards the best shop in town, so its a great trade either way.
Why should you watch carefully? Are you questioning her math? Where did you see "Cash for Clothes"? It's not on the Website, and I've never seen it in their ads. The policy is clearly stated on this page http://www.appleblossombaby.com/Consignment.html: Cash for consignable items, paid after the sale -- and "consignable" is defined as any individual thing she can sell for over $20. I'm not sure what your problem is, as you don't really state it. You simply imply something shady is going on without coming out and saying WHAT is wrong. Please try to be objective in future reviews. Likewise, do not make false accusations, (ie: citing a non-existent ad, and the complaining they do not honor it.)
