User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLOVE IT!! I enjoy going there. There isn't any other bar I rather go to than Hooligans. Its just such a diverse crowd and scene. I love Dueling Pianos on tuesdays then going out dancing on thursday and saturday nights for their Top 40 dance. The security guys are another great thing. They walked to me to my car one night when they realized I was being stalked and hollered at every step I took. Just the whole staff in general is wonderful! If you are looking for a place to shoot pool and listen to music, have a few beers or whatever Hooligans is defitntely the place to be!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThey bring awesome concerts here which you can't find any concert within a 3 hour drive. The bartenders are the best around, Rob & Nick you guys rock! The bouncers keep all the punks looking to fight under control or out of the place. If you're a female and you are walking out alone when it is dark you can ask any of the bouncers of the manager to walk you to your vehicle that is if they don't ask you first. They have a great dance floor and fun events all week long including beer pong night, karaoke night and just a great staff and crowd of people. It's basically the only place I will hang out in Jacksonville since I feel safe there and it's a great crowd of people. The only downside I can think of is on Fridays and Saturdays there can be a LONG line (probably because its a great place!) However once you're a regular and have gotten to know the staff you are treated like a VIP! I LOVE this place. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI must say, I love Hooligan's And I'll repeat: I LOVE HOOLIGAN'S.
They have of bringing great rock and metal bands, (both popular and relatively unknown) to 'lil ole Jacksonville, and for an affordable price at that. I have been there several times (I am even recognized as a regular there now)... and I will go again and again. If you're into the rock and metal scene, check out Hooligan's.
