User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy favorite restaurant in Lafayette. I look forward to every visit there and leave happy each time. If you want to try a little bit of several different things, go for lunch during the week and sample the buffet. It is very reasonably priced.

Best dam Indian food I've had. That's saying quite a bit considering I'm actually Indian. My brother was kind enough to bring us back some of the dishes while he was back and forth between Houston and Lafayette on a work assignment. We love the Paneer masala dish and the seasoned nans (flat bread)! My mouth waters just thinking about it. You gotta taste for yourself. You'll agree.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOnly true ethnic restaurant in lafayette, LA. A variety of food to satisfy anyone's palate. Reasonably priced, good service. This Indian restaurant is comparable to Indian cuisines of major metropolitan area's. If you have never had Indian food before I recommend the Butter Chicken. Also I like the mango lasse- a fruit yogurt drink and the samosa-a stuffed sough appetizer with either vegetables or lamb. Bon appetite. the owner is a former anesthesiologist from Women's and Children's Hospital who was very well respected while he worked there so his expertise in Indian cuisine is also well served at Masala.
