Will never go here again. Been about a year and a half ago and will tell everyone I know that this place sucks. Not only is the owner unfriendly, but after drinking 2 beers he then says it was a cash only bar. Now what bar in town is a cash only bar? It's the freaking 21 century you douche! Time to get a credit card machine like the rest of society.

Not only that, but he won't stick to any deal when it comes to booking bands. Seems like a shady guy all the way around. Which may be a legitimate reason why the beer is cheap.

A pub you can call home.: My experience at St Michael’s Pub has been very rewarding and entertaining.

It is close to campus and opens around 4 everyday, so during long breaks between classes I can go relax at the pub and ease myself before a test or a long night class.

They do not play the music too loud, so even if you are not a fan of what is playing you can still carry on a conversation without shouting.

They have a better and larger selection of drinks on tap than most bars I’ve come across in Tallahassee.

There is plenty of seating!! The pub offers plenty of booths, bar stools, and pullout chairs and tables.

The service is to the point and pleasant. The bartenders do not hand out fake smiles and welcomes that can creep you the hell out, nor will they bark at you if they are having a shitty day. They are attentive and do a damn good job at getting everyone their drinks promptly.

Finally, the best reason to go to St. Michael’s Pub is the people!! The regular crowd that comes in and out of this pub is a large group of great open people. If you are exhausted and just got off work you can sit down and have a beer quietly without being disturbed at this pub. It is also a great place to meet new people after a show at The Beta Bar, or just taking a break from coffee over at All Saints Cafe, and now that they are throwing live shows at the pub itself it is really going to start drawing more good people.

St Michael’s Pub is constantly being improved and has only been open for less than a year so far (and in my opinion is the best pub in Tallahassee), so come out and have a cold drink and see for yourself why so many regulars just about call it home.

Best Pub in Tallahassee: this is a roomy, clean, relaxing pub with great beer and...pool tables....close to walk to other places....nice variety of people.........the music is ...ok..good enough to listen too... ;) some bar games.,,darts

I have fun there.
