JJ's is alright... The food is decent and it probably is the best chinese type food in town. However the dining room leaves much to be desired and I always feel like I am putting them out when I come in to pick up an order. I don't want to bad mouth them too much. They're probably good people. They put out a decent product. However, they're presentation could be much better. But what do you expect... you're in the UP.

The food is very good----not only Chinese food taste, but also healthy.

The atmosphere is lame, the food is good, the prices are bad for what you get and they don't have the best service.

It's basically a quick in-and-out Chinese restaurant, but they have sit down prices.

I went there one afternoon and got soup, and they give it to us to go in a plastic to-go cup. By the time I went to eat it, the plastic had melted and it tasted terrible.

There location is great though and the fact that they have no atmosphere is such a joke amongst Michigan Tech students that they actually go there just to laugh at how little the people have tried. It gets them business, but I have to imagine that will wear off.

The husband and wife ALWAYS work. It's cute, they seem to get along well, but at times it takes away from the service because they are crabby.

They sell 24oz soda bottles, probably from Sam's Club or Wal-Mart.. for like two bucks. Ugh.

Food is good though, and for a lot of the time, that's what's important.
