    We had an excellent dining experience at The Waterfront. The food was exceptional, and the service was as well. As far as high-end dining goes in La Crosse, this is the best.

    Inconsistant, overpriced, but a beautiful facility.
    I've eaten there 5 times since it opened, and it has slid downhill everytime that I go there. I've heard that they have trouble keeping a chef there....somthing like 5 or 6 have gone thru since opening. The last time I ate there, I was so disappointed that when I got home a wrote a E-mail to the owner saying that I wasn't looking for a freebe or anything, I just wanted to let them know that things were being missed and she should know about it. I never even got a return either thanking me for my input or telling me to buzz off. I guess by not acknowledging me, she in a way told me to buzz off. So go elsewhere and save money and get a better meal.
