First of all whoever wrote the review from a former employee's perspective is ALL wrong; besides I would not listen to someone who cannot even use proper grammar. I used to work at Keya Graves and only left because I had to go to college. The owners are very respectful, caring people. They care greatly about their business and pay very close attention to cross contamination; so the person that used to work there obviously knows nothing about the kitchen. The food is spectacular. Even though I worked there almost everyday I never got sick of it. Everything is seasoned well and there are A LOT of items to choose from. And to those who said the employees are untrained you are wrong. Just because someone is not constantly standing by your table does not mean the service is bad. Keya Graves made us go through a series of tests in order to become servers. Aside from the fact that the food at Keya Graves is amazing so are the people, I would know first hand. And to whoever asked if Keya would like to be ghetto or classy, first of all Keya is the daughter of the owners who passed away from cancer a few years ago. Second of all there is absolutely nothing ghetto about Keya Graves or their food; I would highly recommend a visit.
This was our second visit to Keya Graves. My first visit was on Fathers Day and the service wasn't bad. Me and my cutie arrived early so their wasn't much activity. The place was empty.
Well, low and behold my second visit was on July 19th. When me and my Cutie arrived the Buffet line was to the door. They were out of Shrimp, Clams, Crab Claws & Grits. The Buffet only had 5 hot dishes on it.
The Omelet & Waffle station definitely needs some improvement. I'm a cook and thereis no way any of the two stations should be maned by one person with the amount of people in attendance that day. I actually ate standing in line while waiting for my Omelet.
For a Sunday Brunch there should be a Dress Code for Guest & Employees. I should not have to look at several of the servers undergarments & the Casheirs Breasts.
There was a party behind me with drinking invloved, which I didn't mind. When the guys stood up their pants were hanging and underwear showing etc.
The custmer service is very poor!! You get one napkin at a time.
The waitress took my credit card and left the main desk. After about 10 mintues someone else from the desk saw the card and bill and asked me if the credit card was mine.
This can really be an Elegant establishment. Keya needs to decide if she wants "GHETTO" or "ELEGANCE" or does she even care!!
The Goal is to build relationships and clients that keep coming back. If the foundation is solid, professional, and appealing those clients and relationships will follow you forever.
You cannot build a legacy like this!
