I was in Dallas for a few days here while back, and saw this place but didn't have time to stop. So last month when I knew I was going to Dallas for a few days, I made sure I had time to check this place out. I'm glad I did! The food was wonderful, and the service was great. I even went back twice the next day. I thought I had 'good' sushi before, but I was wrong. I've been having dreams about the Tempura, which makes me want to drive the couple hours to Dallas just to eat at this place. All in all, a wonderful experience. If you've never tried Japanese food before, or didn't like it, give this place a shot. And if you love Japanese food, well, what are you waiting for?
Food is excellent, fish is always fresh and clean tasting. The sashimi chef is meticulous and constantly washes his hands. I am more and more impressed by this place each time I go.
The owner and his crew are all very nice and provide good neighborly service. He has the Japanese manner about him, very gentile and well mannered, a very pleasant person to talk to.
I love it so much, I've become a regular once or twice a week. Great for a quick, light meal with a little kick of wasabi to brighten your nasal passages.
Even if you are a big tough macho guy that swears you will never eat sushi, grow some kahunas and try it, this place does it right.
Great sushi....quite unexpected for a hole in a wall. Prices are very reasonable.
