User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI celebrated my birthday there on 9/25/09 and found this restaurant very disappointing. We expecting the menu to be pricey but in return we also expected great service and food in which
we did not receive. Save your money on this one and go enjoy Mahogany if your going to spend this kind of money for some quality food.
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsMy daughter wanted to go to the Melting Pot to celebrate graduating from high school. We made reservations so we didn't have to wait but I was terribly underwhelmed at the whole thing. None of the food, except for the dessert, was really very good. The price was ridiculous -- over $200 for 4 people with nothing to drink but water. I would skip the full dinner, which basically consists of boiled meat, and just go for a drink and dessert sometime. I'm sure that would be a much better experience!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband took me to the Melting Pot for my birthday. We walked in once before and after realizing how long it would take we decided to not brave it with our toddler. We really had a great night; the food was great and we plan on going back. I have to agree that this isn't a place for groups (you don't get to enjoy your meal as much) and for young children (same reason). We loved the different choices and dips. It is pricey so save it for a special occasion.
