I can't speak from a tenant's perspective since we use Connected to manage our townhome association, but in my opinion they are fantastic. They are the most well rounded and proactive management company that I have worked with and I've been through my share over the years.
Nothing magical, they just know what needs to be done to keep things running smoothly and to help us avoid problems and do everything without being asked. Just as important they are always available right away when we need soemthing. Sounds simple but if you have ever been stuck with a bad manager you will appreciate what I'm saying. I highly recommend their service.
I would suggest using a different company if you want phone calls returned and issues addressed timely and thoroughly. Even the President of the company doesn't return calls - at least not promptly. When an issue arises that may nit be the norm, they make minimal efforts to help resolve - we usually have to take care of it ourselves. I am surprised at the good reviews and wonder if they know someone who works at Connected or is affiliated.
As a board member and a general member of our townhome association I cannot say enough about how valuable this company is. They are experts at running associations and have helped us through everything. As an owner I can view my account, the associations financial reports, make payments and anything else I need with their tools. I also work in real estate and continue to hear great things about their results.
They also have partner companies that do just about anything. They were able to cut our insurance, cleaning and snow removal costs by enough to pay for our management charges for a year. They are the way to go.
